According to company disclosures dated August 11, 2026, Affinity Interactive has completed the transfer of Primm Valley Casino Resorts to Terrible’s, a hospitality group managed by the Herbst family. The announcement also confirms the appointment of three new directors to the corporate board.
The agreement follows a June arrangement between the Primm family and Terrible’s to assume control of several Nevada properties. The transferred assets include Buffalo Bill’s Resort & Casino, Whiskey Pete’s Hotel & Casino, the Primm Center, and the Flying J truck stop. Affinity Interactive stated it values the support from the Nevada Gaming Control Board during the handover and extends best wishes to the new ownership.
Board Leadership Updates
The newly appointed directors bring extensive backgrounds in hospitality and corporate strategy. Ellen F. Whittemore joins with prior experience as executive vice president, general counsel, and secretary at Wynn Resorts.
Brad Oates, currently chairman of Stone Advisors, and Adam Paul, who holds more than 25 years of advisory work with boards, investors, and executive teams, complete the additions. Affinity Interactive noted that these appointments add "decades of experience across gaming, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory affairs, strategic transactions and enterprise leadership."
Prior to the finalized rescue package, Affinity Interactive had scheduled a July 4 shutdown for Primm Valley Casino Resorts. The approved transition agreement replaced the initial closure plan.
